Playstation 3 making noise? Is it normal that in certain points of games loading (madden 08 for example) that you can hear the CD-ROM drive making clunky noises while its loading? I know the PS3 is pretty silent, then that starts. I was wondering if the drive is suppose to be a little more quiet then it is. It just kinda "clunk clunk clunk screech" and stops after its loading. Thanks for the help
Its not THAT bad, it just makes some clunking noises thats all. Nothing like screeching, i shouldnt have posted that. Being how a PS3 is very quiet, its just easy to notice the sound
Ok I compared it to the Xbox 360. When I turned on the xbox, it was loud to begin with, and the drive was clunky... But alot louder then my PS3 drive and in general. Basically, im asking this. If your TV is off and no noise is around, are you suppose to hear your CD Drive working at the times when games are loading making little cracking sounds? Or is it suppose to be quiet to the point where you can hear it at all?
