can i run counterstrike on my computer?

I wanna play Counterstrike Source on my pc and i have the following specs:

80GB hard drive
512ram (most probably im upgrading to 1GB next month)
ATI Radeon X300 video card (128mb memory)
3.2GHz dual core processor
windows xp home edition
Direct X 9.0c

and also i have high speed internet

so is all of this enough to run CSS smoothly on my computer?
if or incase it runs really smooth and my pc is almost too good for it or somthing then i want a different game that i can use to take advantage of my video card - i know it sucks but back when i bought it, it was the best one out i payed a lot and didnt even play any games to make it worthwhile so im trying to do that as soon as possible before it gets anymore outdated. So incase this is the matter then please recommend me some other better game and if no and this game is perfect for my computer and it will allow me to get the most out of my video card, then just tell me that.
